Claudine Roger

Biography

Claudine Roger is Director of Operations and Coordinator of Publications at VOX. She holds a B.A. in Art History and an M.A. in Museology from Université du Québec à Montréal. In the past, she has done research on various projects for the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. In 2005, she was project manager for the Fonds documentaire, an iconographic and textual database of more than 120 Quebec photographers. Between 2007 and 2013, she assisted in the creation of an online database of Angela Grauerholz’s work, and in drafting comprehensive bibliographies for VOX’s publications on Bill Vazan and Irene F. Whittome. She has curated the exhibitions Lieux anthropiques, presented in Guadalajara as part of the event Voilà Québec en México in 2003; Rythmes urbains, which toured the island of Montreal in 2007 and 2008; Isabelle Hayeur – Formes de monuments, presented at Espace photographique Contretype in Brussels in 2009; and Jean-Marie Delavalle, focused on his conceptual works from 1970–1975, at VOX in 2014.
