WWKA MAUVE

The collective Women With Kitchen Appliances will reflect on the evolution of feminism and pay tribute to Groupe Mauve, drawing inspiration from their series of performances La femme et la ville, designed for the 1972 exhibition. It consisted of various sketch performances presented at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and in shopping centres around the city.

Women With Kitchen Appliances is a performance art collective. http://wwkacertification.blogspot.ca/

Au cœur de la ville

Actor Alex Bergeron will reinterpret the poetic text Au cœur de la ville, written by André Major for an audio-visual presentation created by Jean-Louis Frund in the 1972 exhibition. For the re-activation of this audio-visual work—a story about the situtation of a young middle-class couple in Montreal—, Bergeron will perform to music composed by Charles Barabé.

Alex Bergeron graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2014.

Charles Barabé has practiced the art of music recording for a little over fifteen years.
