Cory Arcangel

Born in 1978 in Buffalo, Cory Arcangel now lives and works in New York City.

He completed studies in music at Oberlin Conservatory in 2000. His works will soon be on view in solo exhibitions at Vilma Gold, London (2005) and Brändström & Stene, Stockholm (2005). Past solo shows have been held at Migros Museum, Zurich (2005), Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Salzburg (2005), Team Gallery, New York (2005), FACT, Liverpool (2004) and LISTE, in Basel (2004). Arcangel has also participated in group shows in New York, including at Deitch Projects (2005), the Whitney Museum of American Art (2004), the Guggenheim Museum (2004), the New Museum of Contemporary Art (2003), and the American Museum of the Moving Image (2002), as well as at Standard, Oslo (2005), the Banff Centre in Alberta (2004), the Royal Academy of Art, London (2004), and Fassbender Gallery, Chicago (2002).
